Weddings & Special Events
Weddings and/or special events are strictly prohibited without a separate agreement. Our wedding coordinator must arrange the contract and agreement. Only select homes participate in the wedding and special event program. There will be an addendum to the lease pertaining to weddings that requires your signature and must be returned signed with lease agreement. Specifically note that Cabin Rentals of Helen and Sautee have a maximum number of 75 guests during the wedding and /or special event.
  1. Additional event fee incurred by the renter in the amount of $1,500. The fee will defray the cost involved in the logistics of these events and ensure minimal “wear and tear” on the property.
  2. Wedding events require a security deposit in the amount of $2,000 in the form of credit card, check, cash or money order thirty days prior to arrival
  3. Alternative parking arrangements for your guests will need to be made in advance (on-street parking is not allowed). Shuttle service can be arranged with our coordinator.
  4. A list of names attending the wedding/special event must be faxed or mailed into the office 30 days prior to arriving.
  5. For weddings and/or special events a security guard will be provided at the owner’s expense. The security guard with assist with parking and assure the safety of all guest.
  6. Due to high traffic in and out of the restrooms in previous events we require all weddings and/or special events, a port-a-potty be rented, to accommodate the extra amount of guests visiting the rental.
  7. Guidelines for swimming Pools/Hot Tub will be given at time of reservation, at check in and also posted poolside.
  8. From Catering, Entertainment, Photography, and Florist we have a wonderful choice of exclusive vendors that our Wedding and Events Coordinator can assist you with during your special occasion. Many of our exclusive vendors give up to 50% discounts to customers of Cabin Rentals of Helen, Sautee, and Lake Burton.

Please note - Firewood is not supplied at the cabins. Firewood can be purchased in advance and delivered to your cabin prior to your arrival or at the store upon your arrival. Kindling and fat lighter are also available at the store. Thank you.
